What this exam is designed to test
PITA Conventional M2 (PCM2) sits within Malaysia's PITA framework for professional insurance and takaful agents. Its content is organised around risk management, needs analysis, life and health insurance, annuities, general insurance, legal principles, consumer protection and SOCSO. The official structure matters because useful preparation must match the pathway, language and scoring rules that apply to the candidate.
ExamsPrep Malaysia treats the official MFPC information as the authority for format and pathway facts. Our role is different: we turn the recorded learning content into retrieval practice, explanations, timed mocks and performance evidence. That distinction keeps official registration information separate from independent preparation.

Translate the format into a pacing plan
Do not aim to spend exactly 96 seconds on every question. Use a faster first pass for direct recall, a deliberate second pass for short scenarios and a protected review window. Marking an item for review is a pacing decision, not an admission of failure.
Practise the same sequence in every full mock. A routine reduces cognitive load: read the requirement, identify the topic, eliminate impossible options, choose the best supported answer and move on.
Prepare above the boundary
The published standard is 50%, but a study target should include a buffer. Aim for repeatable results rather than one high score on familiar questions. Three unseen full mocks with stable chapter performance provide stronger evidence than a large average containing repeated papers.
For Dual candidates, always record two scores. A combined 60% can still hide a failed section, while two balanced scores show that the separate requirement is protected.
Make every mock produce a revision decision
After submission, group errors by chapter and by cause. Then schedule a short corrective set, explain the corrected rule without notes and retest after a delay. The purpose of the mock is not to collect a percentage; it is to reveal the next highest-value action.
