PITA Conventional M2 (PCM2) sits within Malaysia's PITA framework for professional insurance and takaful agents. The official structure matters because useful preparation must match the pathway, language and scoring rules that apply to the candidate.

How to evaluate a mock exam

A useful mock matches the current question count and timing, covers the full pathway, hides answers until submission and provides explanations strong enough to teach the deciding principle. It should report chapter performance rather than only a total score.

For Dual, it must preserve the two 50-question sections and report them separately. A paper that produces only one combined percentage does not test the rule that decides the result.

Where free material helps—and where it stops

Free guides are useful for orientation, format checks and small diagnostics. They are not a substitute for the complete current learning material or enough unseen questions to measure stability. Use a free resource only when its source, update date and pathway are clear.

A large library is not automatically better. Choose the smallest stack that provides complete coverage, reliable recall, realistic practice and correction.

A 14-day materials plan

Days 1–4: official material and summaries for the highest-priority chapters. Days 5–8: flashcards, chapter drills and written error corrections. Days 9–11: mixed sets and weak-topic retests. Days 12–14: full mocks, pacing review and current-registration checks.

Extend the plan if the first mixed diagnostic is below 55%. Compressing coverage creates confidence gaps that appear only when the questions start switching topics.
